For some reason I'm spazzing out today and I can't remember the name of the track that has the hard left-hander under a huge stone arch. Like the Arch of Triumph in Paris. It's one of the most recognizable corners in all of motorsport, and I can't remember the name of the stupid track! I've seen it on Speedvision a hundred times. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/mad.gif
Somebody smack me after they answer my question... http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

Isn't this the Formula 1 track in Montreal, Canada? Or am I thinking of Mosport. Man. I can't remember either. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

Toronto has the Princess Gate outside the track but I think the one you mean is Three Rivers, Quebec where the course runs directly under the arch onto a straight.

Maybe that's it... http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
Yes, the course runs through an arch and into a 90 degree left hander. It narrows considerably at the arch and I remember people trading paint there... it was Speedvision GT with an NSX/Viper battle. This was probably two summers ago.

Sounds like Trois-Rivieres in Quebec. Here is a link to last year's race. (http://www.grand-am.com/events/trois-rivieres/)

randy and OnTheGas are right. Well, at least I remembered that it was in Canada somewhere. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif
It's a nice street circuit w/ elevation changes and stuff.
Doesnt Laguna Seca have an arch like that?

y2k: Once you see the arch we're talking about, you'll understand that, no, Laguna Seca does NOT have an arch like it. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/lol.gif

y2k's thinking of the bridge at Laguna Seca that's made to look like 1/4 of a tire going over the track. Till I read the thread more closely I thought that was what you were talking about too.
