Someone has suggested that instead of turboing an RS I try to obtain a WRX engine and drivetrain and do an engine swap. Are there any vendors that are selling WRX engine and drivetrains from wrecked WRX's or people that are JDM-ing their WRX's and looking to get rid of their WRX engine????

I would also look into importing the motor from AUstralia. I have seen some insane deals from there. and while you are at it, you could pick an STI motor and drive trane pretty cheep.
