Ok this is basically what went down at this dealer....I had just gotten back from NOPI 2001 and saw the amount of WRX's there and was just amazed by these things...and wanted to test drive one...with the intent to buy quite soon, sooooo to make a long story short i go to my Nearest Subby Dealer.....which is like 5 miles down the Road ( Interstate 78 and Rt. 222 for you locals) and i go looking around their lot and find the WRX i want to take out for a quick spin..Im a 19 year old guy here....and i go into a salesperson and kindly ask him if i could take a test drive.

What does he respond with?

"We need a non-refundable deposit for you to test drive that car. We dont let just anyone drive one"

So im like...sir...im gonna buy one...no doubt...and if I do id LIKE to do it thru you guys....and then he went into the fact they make no exceptions..blah blah blah blah....so im like alright go to hell Becker Subaru..and went out to Faulkner Subaru on Rt. 22 and 512...about another 10 miles away....

Talked to Wes...IF you need anything and your in Allentown..TALK TO HIM..hes the man.....I told him of my troubles with Becker and he was like" How in the HELL do they expect to sell you one if they wont let you just take it for a spin??"

Anyways.... TO HELL with Becker....and Faulkner Kicks ASS!

Becker CAN SUCK MY ABNORMALLY BIG LEFT NUT!!!

Dude Becker only sells to old people, thats why they're the WAGONMASTERS cause they only care about selling to mommys and daddys and old gramps about to die!!!

Becker will tell you replaceing ANYTHING with aftermarket will kill the car.. they will tell you that engine swaps are impossaible, and modifying your turbo is bad news..

Faulkner used to sell TURBO KITS!!!! damb ****ing straight.. If you are EVER in Allentown SCREW BECKER, SCREW KELLY, and make love to faulkner Subaru

Hmm thats interesting. I had the exact opposite situation happen to me. I was looking for a WRX last year and went to Becker. Salesman threw me the keys and said have fun but bring it back in one piece. He didnt even go with me! I was 21 at the time. Now my GF is looking at a WRX (I decided on a different car not sure why :-p) and we went to Faulkner. He wouldnt let her drive the car because "They are hot sellers and unless you plan to buy now you cant drive it" well how is she going to know if she wants it, if she cant drive it? and shes 23 so its not like shes 16 or something.

Why 2003? I just worked a deal with Issac up there for a 2002 sedona red with spoiler and armrest extension for $23,261. I dont know how much you can deal for the 2003 cause they didnt hit the stores yet. Never believe that the price cant come down. Just look for prices online and then demand the dealer meet or beat it. They will. Lots of great info on.

Read through it its worth it the read. Using similar tactics on this site I was able to get my 2002 dakota R/T for $21,500 when the sticker was $26,500.

i bought my car at becker becauase of the price, but they refused to let me drive the car. i had to call an older person i knew to drive it for me. the guy i was talking to had no idea, he was calling all imprezas "WRS" and thought theyall ahd 2.5 litre enigne, but the wrx had a 6 cylinder.

edit: warranty work on the car, as long as you know what you are talking about they give you no problem. people in the service department have helped me out a ton with stuff. now thye just need to put some knowledge into the heads of their salesmen.....

My buying experience with Becker was great. Maybe b/c they knew I drove from out of state that I was a serious buyer. Everyone was very polite and they let me test drive the car as soon as I walked in the door. I dealt with Ken.

Can't argue with an STi for invoice either!:D

Yeah I get all my service on my WRX at Becker now sinces its closer. The service department I think kicks ass, and its cheaper for most service there than out at Faulkner. Hell they usually discount my service for some odd reason ( maybe cause they see the NASIOC.com and Lovell/Freeman stuff on my car??) ANyways good service dept., so if you need service go there!!

Beckers sales team still leaves some things to be expected but I guess youll have this.

Does anyone know Bussaca? We need help finding him.

Long story short, a bunch of us legacy owners sent him hundreds of dollars each for a fiberglass hood. We have received nothing.

Id be willing to paypal money to a NASIOC/Legacycentral member in his area to work things out for me.
