As many already know, Primitive Racing is preparing a 2002 WRX to complete in the SCCA ProRally Championship. The car is a first allocation Blaze Yellow sedan (of course).

The car is still on a ship nearing the coast, but already the suspension, Group N rollcage, and other items are coming together (slowly) at our shop.

I will try to post links and updates as well as going through all the stages of tear down and build up. I will try to remember to take tons of digital pix for the website.

The car will be built to Group N specifications (as they exist today). If you live in the Portland area and want to help in person with this project, please email me directly at PaulEklund@aol.com for a preparation schedule.

Obviously, as I develop parts for the WRX rallycar (e.g. skidplates, downpipe, strut bar, exhaust, projector headlamps, WRC-style rear wing, chip, etc) I will make these proven parts available.

Visit www.get-primitive.com (http://www.get-primitive.com) for future updates. Thanks, Pe

Paul,

I just want you to know that you'll recieve support from the SPEC club and we will try and get some individuals together for you to help you with your ongoing projects. When you come on Sunday the 11th, please remind me to bring this up at the meeting. If there's anything else that you need, please let me know! That's why we are here... to help out our local Subaru Rally Teams (that goes for Hairpin Racing too)!

Well, maybe a keychain or two... http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

If you ever make it down here (Chattanooga or Sandhills Sandblast), I'll be glad to do everything I can.

Regards,

Damn... I lived up in Tigard for a month last year (Jan 2000) on a short lived contract with AT&TWS. Nice area. One of the few places I'd think about if Kalifornia starts getting too whacked out. And the emissions laws are a lot looser too! I can do a clean turbo kit, and register my car! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif
