Does anyone have and can post some transcripts of pace notes as used on the WRC or other rally events ? I want to see the format they use and the wording...as i cant understand them completely when watching WRC coverage ... or maybe some of you co-drivers can give me some examples ?
Thanks!
(ps: i want something other than : easy right, hard left, hairpin right etc http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/tongue.gif )

Here's some light reading. This came with a rally video I got a few years ago. You can actually follow along from the in-car audio. I've never used pacenotes, but I'll be using them in the upcoming Cherokee Trails ProRally, which is being run under FIA rules.

I purchased a rally video called Snow Rally Experience a few years ago. It came with pace notes. The video is entirely in-car view of mostly Colin Mcrae and Derek Ringer in a Legacy at a Finnish or Sweeden Arctic Rally. Very cool footage. Tape is produced by Duke Video. I purchased it from www.rallysportonline.com (http://www.rallysportonline.com)

Jon good luck at Cherokee trails. You guys are going to be flying with notes. Is this the first time SCCA has allowed pace notes? Back in the early 80s on the Sunriser rally they used to stop us at an O control & do a pace note check. My codriver used to stick them down her drivers suit.

WOW! Just as challengine to read as an IFR clearance or an area forecast! hee hee
