View Full Version : 1st auto-x Gambit 02-12-2001, 02:15 PM dude, in an autoX powerful cars <> FTD cars. Check out the fast cars, it's often the nimble but "weaker hp" cars like the miatas, integras etc... But it varies from courses to courses. If the course you went to has alot of straights then it's just pedal to the metal. But if it has a lot of turns (true autoX IMHO) then the smaller and better suspensioned cars will walk away from the rest. All the best. Keep on enjoying dude! I didnt have to worry with heel toe. i hit the rev limiter in 2nd but it wasnt for more than a second or 2 so using 3rd would have been a waste of time, so no need for heel/toe. He had BFG KDW, KYB AGX, camber plates, ft strut bar, springs, Cobb intake, Subaru performance exhaust. This was my first time to auto-x so im pleased, espicaly on the RE92's. I will know when the times are posted on the web site. I was too hurried at the end to get all the results. I did pretty good, i was around 6 seconds slower than the race tired cars (Supra TT, Firehawk, bad a$$ mustang) on my RE92 tired car. There was a turbo RS there with that experienced driver, hanging with the Supra TT. The only suspention mods on the turbo RS was a 20mm rear bar and BFG KDW tires. Im am now an iniated auto-x junkie. Hope to see some of you guys/girls killing the cone with me.
