Users have requested to be able to download files to Link computers with different configurations. We have been reluctant to do this as it may cause problems with incorrect settings being set in the Link computer. However, the Open File function has now been modified so that if the user has a Link computer online, and a new file is opened with a different configuration, warnings will be displayed, but the user can choose to download the changes anyway. The user MUST check all settings before running an engine.

Their last release has me a little confused. Granted I don't have the LInk in the car yet and haven't actually been playing with it but they make it sound like you couldn't load different maps into the Link from the laptop? They make it sound like you had to load the map from the Link that was there then modify it and restore it?

Just a little confused and wondering. I am sure there is somthing that I am missing becuase I don't have any hands on experience yet.

You could ... its a bit hard to explain. The connection from the link would go ofline. and then back online.

just know that you can load any map at any time...
