I drive a 2000 2.5 rs, with a stromung exhaust, borla headers, a cold air intake, and an underdrive pully. I get a random loud pop or two whenever I let the engine slow the car down. I was told by the person I bought the car from that it was caused by a little back pressure and its no big deal. Is it no big deal?
thanks,
robert

(almost) Everyone who has an aftermarket exhaust hears those... it's no big deal. :)

Actually, IIRC, subies tend to run somewhat rich and the sound you here is excess fuel hitting the manifold. It doesn't do any harm...the sound was always there, but when you have a free flowing exhaust, you can actually hear it.
