Few Link Questions after trying to install it this weekend.

1) with the plug and play harness, is it wired to the rear o2 sensor, or is that something that Im going to have to do

2) The link can run external or internal map. I have vacuum line to the ecu, but can it run just off the stock MAP sensor while na?

3) how did you end up mounting it? The stock ecu bolts dont line up in anyway

4) Any other hints?

I got it to start on the base map, with no vacuum line no less so it was reading atmosphere. Started playing with the map and it didnt want to turn over. Anyhow, at least I can swap back the the stock ECU in 2 minutes when I really need to drive at this point.

1.) YES the link is hooked up to the rear O2 sensor, so move that sensor as far forward towards the headers as possible. This will give you the most accurate readings.

2.) The Link can run internal or external MAP sensors, but can not run the stock MAP sensor. It is not a 3 bar map sensor and more specifically only a select few work with the Link. While NA just hook it up to the internal MAP sensor by tapping the vacuum line off the Intake manifold.

3.) I either place the ECU under the passenger seat or I bolt one screw where the stock ECU use to be. It will line up with at least one hole.

4.) Start off gettting the idle correct and then start gettting the NA working correctly. From there you can start working on the boost settings.

Your car will have anear impossible time driving wiht having the MAP sensor hooked up the Link. So run to your nearest automotive store and pick up some vaccum line. It is pretty cheap.

Yah, I got the vacuum line already. ;) good stuff. Do you know what diameter hose its designed for?

The window washer line works perfectly.

You'll have to make sure that it goes on right though. Every Link that I have seen has the hole drilled about 1/8" off center, just enough so you have to try to get it on.

Yeah be careful of that little plastic piece, as I broke mine. Found the easist way to get it on is to take the cover off, slide the vacuum line through the hole in the case attach it and then put the cover back on.
