Well, My second try at link EMS went better than my first effort. Sort of.
Got it started and running on the base map. Rich as hell, but I braved a drive around the block. Seemed to work okay so far.
Started playing with the master fuel value to lean it out a bit. Car starts hunting for idle below values of about 120 or so, but the o2 still says rich rich rich.
So I take a short spin to the end of the block and back with the new leaner settings. By the time I make it back to the driveway, I have steam coming out of the hood. Guess I boiled a little coolant. No real harm done. Stock ECU goes back in for now until I have more time to experiment.
