Has anyone else noticed the finish of the paint job peeling away directly under the headlights? I washed and waxed my BRP RS (7 months old) and noticed a sizeable patch of finished removed under each headlight...
booooooooo! Any suggestions of what I should do?

Thanks

Would it be because of rocks and derbies chip the paint off? Coz my front bumper got many paintless spot on it too, the factory paint and clearcoat is abit thin I heard... I use to paint it over w/ touch up paint, but luckily the bumper is black in color, so I don't bother w/ it anymore. And that's another reason I don't want to upgrade to an aftermarket bumper... How big are the patches?

You shouldn't get too bothered by it. Just wait a couple years and all of the paint will come off. Don't bother with SOA either since they told me first it was all my fault and then said that the factory paint was acceptable. Hmmm "acceptable?" Sorry no when it costs you $2K to get it redone correctly it isn't acceptable.

Hey!

I have a MY2001 Silverthorn RS Coupe......and among a list of other warranty issues; is paint flaking off the front bumper, around the lowest scoops and fenderwell.

To the dealer's credit, they have addressed all the previous issues to my total satisfaction, and are covering a
total repaint of the front bumper as well.
My appointment should be next week at the body shop.

Good luck- press your dealer for warranty
coverage!
