Also any engine related items to be sold?
Thanks.:D

Richard.
tranjo 09-05-2002, 09:24 PM How about prodrive mudflaps for the 2002 wrx sedan?

thanx
Irvine Subaru 09-05-2002, 09:40 PM I don't see the flaps on my list just yet, so I'll ask.
Regarding the engine upgrades... nothing as of yet. There are products in the works. As of right now we have access to certain parts with other things in development. I will update everyone as soon as I know anything.
Wagon specific parts are also being discussed.
OwlBoogie 09-05-2002, 10:35 PM Ryan,
I was wondering if you can get the Prodrive style front grille thats on the STi Prodrive Version?

Ryan24 09-06-2002, 12:57 AM Ryan,
Are you going to be carrying the P1 front lip for all of us "old school" RS's?
wrxxed 09-06-2002, 01:49 AM Hey Ryan I contacted SOA and my credit card company about the voucher you "never " received and they said theres nothing they can do about it.So now I'm out $100, have you tried locating it @Irvine ???
THGANKS FOR TAKING CARE OF THIS RYAN!!:D
IwantONE 09-06-2002, 02:36 AM pmed you ryan.
Alex
Irvine Subaru 09-06-2002, 04:40 AM The Prodrive style parts belong to Fuji/Subaru and can not be had through Prodrive.
I should have access to the P1 lip and will confirm in the a.m.
wrxxed - you have a PM.
Ricter 09-06-2002, 09:51 AM Are the black prodrive shift knobs still available? I see them listed on the site, but I want to make sure you actually have them before ordering.
Thanks,
Ricter
Irvine Subaru 09-06-2002, 06:03 PM The black knobs are on the container. I've got quite a few coming in.

blaznasn 09-06-2002, 06:57 PM i would like to know how much this wing is
http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/sti_prodrive/b00_f.htm
Irvine Subaru 09-06-2002, 07:04 PM As I mentioned above anything one the Prodrive Style STi belongs to Subaru/Fuji and is not available for distribution through Prodrive. Prodrive does not have the rights to distribute those parts.
There is a new wing in the works for the WRX sedan however.
Ryan
blaznasn 09-06-2002, 07:07 PM oops, sorry about that.
WAlude 09-06-2002, 07:26 PM Prodrive floor mats?
Irvine Subaru 09-06-2002, 07:35 PM Prodrive mats for the GC $76.00
I believe there are one or two sets on an incoming container.
The Ru 09-06-2002, 07:55 PM I thought the only way to get the genuine P1 lip was through Simon at prodrive. I think he wanted like 50 buyers b/f the would produce them again? I think....
ian
Irvine Subaru 09-06-2002, 08:01 PM That isn't what Simon told me, but I will confirm that.
Ryan24 09-06-2002, 10:20 PM I e-mailed Simon a few days ago and he pointed me to Scott @ Prodrive USA who then pointed me to Ryan over at Irvine Subaru
Looks like Irvine Subaru is going to be a distributer here for Prodrive stuff
Way to go....finally we get the good stuff:D
downeyer 09-06-2002, 11:19 PM Ryan, can you get a hold of GC-07C wheels? What price are we looking at?
tranjo 09-06-2002, 11:22 PM Still waiting for the mud flaps.
comon' they got to be the hottest thing by prodrive with exception to there wheels and springs???
JZ oo7 09-07-2002, 12:27 AM P1 lip, *drool*. gee, it's gonna cost an arm and a leg huh? how about the P1 foglight covers?
jz
WhiteWRX2002 09-07-2002, 02:17 AM Ryan, how much for the Prodrive springs delivered to 30281? Do you have them in stock now? Thanks, Scott H.
Costanza 09-07-2002, 04:44 AM whitewrx2002, when I ordered the springs there was no shipping charge. I dunno if thats because I live local to Irvine Subaru or if there is free shipping...
Irvine Subaru 09-07-2002, 06:16 AM Hey guys,
I'll get you more info on all the parts as soon as I can. I've been running around all week preparing for a show this weekend. I'll get with Prodrive and get you some info. on the flaps and wheels and what not.
As far as the shipping on the springs goes... our ordering system does not add shipping to your order, that is done manually. The system only takes the order and relays that to us. I actually input the order and add shipping. If you have any shipping concerns please PM me or e-mail me. We are currently working towards having the computer compute shipping automatically, however with different zip codes being different rates it is difficult to do it accurately.
Ryan
REXOne 09-08-2002, 11:20 PM Ryan, do you have this in stock? If so, how much is it to ship to 22102. Thanks!
west_aust 09-09-2002, 10:18 AM i might be interested in both the P1 lip and also the P1 fog lights, i already have the P1 fog suroung but still have to find the fog light that fit with
so if you could be of any help that would be appreciated
i also want the P1 lip and fogs...
west_aust
where did you get the P1 fog surround? can you give me a source to purchase?
west_aust 09-09-2002, 02:27 PM i got them from an individual in the uk, i saw this guy selling them on scoobynet and email him
scoop 09-09-2002, 03:42 PM I'm also interested in prices for 17" GC-07Cs.
Siper2 09-09-2002, 03:50 PM Ryan,
I heard once that Prodrive makes/made 16" wheels, they just were never available here.
If this is true--and/or if you can find out--could you please Email or PM me? This wouldn't be for a purchase right now, but if you're an official distributor now, perhaps early next year if I can foot the bill. :)
I'm looking for strong 16" alternatives other than OEM GC wheels.
They have to be able to clear brake kits like the STi 4-pots or ScoobySport/RallyPerformance 16" set though. (I'm sure they would, but.... just in case.)
-S2-
HomeGrownXC 09-10-2002, 11:00 AM Can this kit be split up? If so how much for the lower grill cover?
Thanks - Greg

Costanza 09-14-2002, 04:54 AM Thanks Ryan, picked up the springs Friday afternoon. I'll def. come back in the future for some more toys.
Price and availability for the Prodrive racing harness please. Thanks
roybfr 09-15-2002, 12:06 PM Is there only one type of spring from prodrive or are there specific wagon and sedan parts. I know there are a few wagons with Prodrive springs that only lower the rear about .5" and 1.5" in the front.
Troy
Irvine Subaru 09-16-2002, 10:52 AM Morning everyone.
I've got a bit of bad news. The mufflers that were scheduled to arrive last week didn't make it and have been delayed. This is completely beyond my control and I've been given a prelimenary delivery time frame of 1-1.5 weeks. I will keep you all updated and appreciate your patience.
I'll also check on the stuff you guys have been asking about. I've got an e-mail headed off to Prodrive today and will be nagging them where appropriate.
Springs. The springs are for use with either the sedan OR wagon. There is not a wagon specific set. Hopefully that clears up your question.
Ryan
newscooby 09-16-2002, 11:57 AM Ryan, I know it's not listed on your website.
But can you get ahold of the ProDrive splash shields/mud flap/whatever their called for the front wheel wells of a wagon.
Not full on Rally flaps, just the ones that look like the ones that fit the TS wagon. I've got a set of those I had to modify, but i'm not really happy with my hack job.
Thanks for all your efforts
mike
Irvine Subaru 09-16-2002, 03:24 PM P1 lips are now in stock!! :D:D:D
$530.27 plus shipping.
Still waiting to hear on the flaps and GC07/07 wheels.

Motionblurrr 09-29-2002, 07:23 AM I just bought the prodrive springs and it was recommended to me to buy STi top mounts to really get the best performance out of them. Can you get these? If so, how much?
feropont 09-29-2002, 11:24 AM Rayan, do you have a Prodrive muffler for WRX?
$ ?
Serge.
SkirtBoy 09-30-2002, 08:58 AM 1. Can the WR sport muffler fit to an MRT turbo back exhaust?
2. The mesh grilles - will they fit with Morettes?
3. Can I buy the UK300 front spoiler without buying the rear?
Allan
draggy 09-30-2002, 11:50 AM any word on the mudguards yet?

Allan
Well, I'll take this one.
2. Yes they will as the morettes leave the factory grill so yes, they will.
3. Luke found out that as long as you have a front lip, (OEM in my case), you could use the rear wing so I guess if you have a wing, it should. But Ryan has to found out more info on this. If he can, then I'm willing to buy the wing so there is no problem for him splitting an aero-pack.
Leo
Irvine Subaru 09-30-2002, 02:11 PM The muffler is $380.00 + shipping
The details on the Aero pack are as follows. They are not offering it to me seperately as of now. I know TireRack was buying the fronts and rears seperate, but as of now they are a complete kit.
Prodrive does not recommend using just the rear wing because at speeds above 80 miles/hour the wing will produce sufficient downforce and causes the creation of lift at the front of the car resulting in unstable conditions. You need to use both the front lip and rear wing to balance the downforce conditions created by either since they are designed to work in conjuction with one another.
Ryan
Edit: The muffler won't fit an MRT system.
I have the STi mounts in stock. PM me.
Leonardo 09-30-2002, 02:51 PM But Luke was told by Simon, that if you have a OEM or aftermarket lip, the use of the wing is ok.
Can you verify this and get back t me as I'm in between this wing and the STi CF one
Leo
PS- Turn on your IM!!!:p
Irvine Subaru 09-30-2002, 04:12 PM You should be ok with an aftermarket lip. We're doing one right now. I'll inquire about seperating out the Aero pack.
Ryan
p.s. IM's are on, just not answering, concentrating on end of the month activity today. :(

Would you be able to paint the front lip for me should this go ahead?
What would you consider a fair split of the cost for the pack between myself and Leo? I believe I paid $650 or $700 for my UK300 rear spoiler when I got it last year.
Allan
2003WRX 10-02-2002, 04:14 PM Bump!
Ryan, any word on those mufflers yet? You emailed me awhile back and said they were going thru customs... the wait is killin' me. :D
Irvine Subaru 10-02-2002, 04:22 PM I will have a better idea on the muffler situation later today.
The lip I could paint if you needed me to.
As for a fair split... probably about what you paid for the spoiler would be fair for Leo. Sounds about right to me.
Ryan
SkirtBoy 10-03-2002, 09:08 AM I'm happy with that ....

Simon Lines 10-04-2002, 12:52 PM Hi Guys
Luke was not told that "any" lip was fine. I cannot say what effect any other lip will have as we only tested our's at MIRA. We sell the front lip and rear wing as a pair because of how effective they are, alone they can cause considerable aero in-balence
Cheers
Simon
Another week gone and no WRSport mufflers.:(
lark6 10-04-2002, 07:25 PM ahem...and nary a word ever re WRSport mufflers for the (now last-gen) Forester. :(
Ed
Irvine Subaru 10-04-2002, 07:52 PM I had inadvertantly forgotten about the Forester. We did order some mufflers for the Forester and they are on their way. Whether they are coming with the WRX mufflers or on a seperate container I am uncetain. I do assure you they are on the way though.

well_armed 10-08-2002, 07:43 PM What's the deal with the prodrive flaps?
Shouldn't take this long to find out...
Irvine Subaru 10-08-2002, 08:52 PM Just talked to Prodrive and it looks like they will have some to me in the next couple days. I'll have more info. for you in the next two days.
Sorry for the delay, but I've been chasing a lot of other stuff besides this.

newscooby 10-08-2002, 09:37 PM Ryan, I just wanted to commend you on the job your doing on trying to keep all of us i-clubbers happy.

Irvine Subaru 10-28-2002, 03:31 PM Ok, I've been bugging and bugging Prodrive and there are a couple containers coming in... including mudflaps. I don't know for sure if they will arrive before SEMA, but it won't be too much longer.
I'll ask them and ask them until I get a firm date on their arrival though.
FUNKED1 10-30-2002, 07:56 PM I'm definitely interested in buying a set of the mud flaps.

Irvine Subaru 10-31-2002, 06:52 PM I'll let everyone know the minute this stuff arrives. The tentative date I've gotten for the next incoming crate is Nov. 15th. That is TENTATIVE. Please bear this in mind.

Pfoofer 10-31-2002, 09:44 PM What will it take to replicate the look of the P1. I've got front lip (which I have seen a price for), rear wing, fog lamp covers, oem spats, and oem side skirts. Am I forgeting anything? If the wing and fog lamp covers are available, how much are they? Will these parts still be around after January?
thanks

IwantONE 11-24-2002, 05:27 PM After months having my prodrive springs in my closet i finally installed them yesterday. I LOVE THEM! Thanks Ryan. Should i wait a while before i get it aligned (is it necessary to get aligned?) and should i use the prodrive specs? Thanks.

Rattler 11-24-2002, 09:55 PM I am interested in the flaps too!!
IwantONE 11-25-2002, 01:47 AM Though i have only driven on the springs for 2 days they feel amazing. I noticed the difference the second i started driving. Stiff but not bone jarring stiff, i just love them. I have them on stock struts and wheels, though i have the hotchkis sway bars (also from ryan) and whiteline heavy duty swaybar mounts. It handles great but now the car really can handle a lot more than the tires can (still Re-92s). There's a corner near me that i used to take at about 65-70 comfortably (onramp to a freeway) and today i did it at about 85 and the car wanted more but the tires didn't. To sum up i think these springs are great, perfect ride, drop, and handling. Hope this helps, though it is very opinionated.
Alex
Irvine Subaru 11-25-2002, 02:23 PM Hey guys, hope you had a good weekend.
The flaps - no new information unfortunately, but I have been asking Prodrive almost daily. I will let you know as soon as I can.
If you install the springs it is highly recommended that you get an alignment and yes, use the specs that came with the springs. It makes a difference.
I'm glad you like the springs! They definetly improve the car so much...
Ryan

Irvine Subaru 12-16-2002, 06:14 PM No information on the flaps. I am waiting for Prodrive on this and my hands are tied. I am bothering them to no end about it though.
The springs don't require new struts, but the SPT ones are a good way to go. You can also cut and insert Koni inserts.
Ryan

Siper2 01-13-2003, 11:08 AM Originally posted by romoranger

I'd ALWAYS recommend new struts with new springs. Running tighter springs on OEM struts just isn't a smart idea, in my book.
You'll run under-damped and will have weird handling characteristics. Probably something like.... good body roll control, but not very good road-holding around corners. So it'd be a misleading ride.
I'd prefer to have upgraded struts, not springs, if I had to choose just one upgrade.
If you get them, get the STi Ver.5 (SPT) struts, indeed.
-S2-
Irvine Subaru 01-13-2003, 03:05 PM Prodrive has engineered their springs to work with STOCK struts. You will be fine using the stock strut.
I have and will continue to e-mail regarding mudflaps.

I have Prodrive springs (via SPI motorsports :D)on stock struts. "Road-holding around corners" is much improved. The limiting factor is now the RE-92's.
I've had them on for almost a month now. No weird handling phenoms that I've experienced.
FWIW this morning I watched a car go over a bump in the road that I would go over as well. I watched it oscillate 4 times before the car settled down. Then it was my turn. Since I was driving, I could only try to feel how many times my car oscillated. And I only counted 2. Again, FWIW....
Irvine Subaru 01-15-2003, 03:19 PM The Prodrive springs with stock struts work, and work well.
I've not had 1 complaint.
"This is how it should have come stock" is the most common comment I get.
mrbell 01-15-2003, 05:03 PM Are you guys going to carry the Prodrive front brake discs? Not the whole kit, just these discs (http://www.prodrive.com/display1.asp?topArea=products&displaySubArea=prodrive%20products&thirdID=224&noFlash=0)?
and for how much? Thanks.

Irvine Subaru 06-19-2003, 02:13 PM Gold P1's are backorder. Will be here on the incoming container.
Mufflers are still in stock.
Rotors are a front SET. They do come with both right and left.

thrdeye 09-27-2003, 12:23 AM Ryan,
Are there any plans to release the prodrive/hks coilovers in the USA?
I think they look sweet, but I don't know much about them as far as how they compare with other coilovers.
Any info is appreciated
Irvine Subaru 09-29-2003, 03:01 PM I don't know of any plans to release the coil-overs here. They were a Japanese market product. That doesn't mean that they won't come, just that I don't have any information on them at this time.
RSE - I have the RS mufflers in stock. I believe they have WRSport on them. At this time, I won't be receiving more stock until the units I have are sold.
Sir_Xenon - PM'ing you now.
Ryan
