I just got off the phone with my friend Tim Brown, who runs a Cobra R Mustang race car out there, and he states that Misssion is THE hardest track on brakes that he has ever seen. (and he runs Mosport, Seattle, Portland, Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Button Willow, etc. etc.)

He says that the track offers so little chance for your brakes to cool down, that you HAVE to have race pads in, and good fluid, or else you'll just be half-ass driving around out there.

(He just had his Brown Bros. track day on Wednesday out there, and said even quick sprints out there were getting the front discs up to high temps, and he runs Brembo Big reds with big ass 14" x 1.3" rotors.

Just a warning that make sure you guys have race pads like the Porterfields or Hawks in your car, with super good fluid.

Don, thanks for the info,

I guess it looks like I will be paying you a visit for some pads amongst other parts.
