View Full Version : Question for a worker at a Suby dealer
virus67 10-02-2002, 03:10 PM Hey guys, just had a quick question for someone who works at a suby dealership. The guys at mine over here in maryland are absolutely great, their nice, quick, on time, reliable, and trust worthy. I dont exactly own alot of cars, but im familiar with ALOT of dealerships and dealers, and the service i get from my subaru dealership surpasses anything ive recieved anywhere else, you could say ive developed personal relationships with the workers as well. My question is, is there any kind of form or something i can fill out and send to SOA informing them about it? silly question but i just feel im gettin alot extra from my Suby guys and would like to give some credit back to em.
thx,
nomadtw 10-02-2002, 03:21 PM be careful soa might reprimand them for delivering quality service
it seems to be against policy everywhere else in the country...
ie. i don't knwo about a form, but consider yourself lucky to have a good subie dealer, i have to go about an hr away to find a good one
BluSuby 10-02-2002, 03:36 PM You seem pretty lucky. My dealership has been ok, but it's strictly a business to them. They take no interest in the cars. If it's broke, just fix etc... Maybe I expect a little more.
Anyway to answer your question, you can probably call SOA at 1-800-Subaru3 an tell them your experiences. Check in your owners manual to make sure the number I gave is right. I typed it from memory because that is also the number you call to complain:)

ewc, i go to thomas subaru, its in western maryland
Make sure you go to the reviews section here and put in a good word in "dealer reviews". :D
subymamma 10-04-2002, 08:46 PM Here's a way you can show them you think they're great:
go by Publix or a store with great bakery/deli and get a big tray of cookies or meat/cheese tray, or a bunch of something really good to eat and go in there right before lunch--take in alot of it so it can really go around.
When I worked for a doctor, once in awhile a patient would bring us in something and that meant more to me than just words, it was such a nice gesture to show they cared! (I luv ya, man!) :alien:
kermit 10-05-2002, 01:01 PM If you bring your car in for any warranty work then Subaru should send you a survey in the mail. This survey is focuses on customer service. You can rate your dealer and also your service advisor. You can also write comments down and Subaru will send the dealer the survey results.
MattDell 10-06-2002, 11:29 PM I had my Sube in for warranty work and I didn't get a survey.

LMAO!!!! that's some funny sheeot.
AS far as compliments here's what you need to do
you need to have a warranty claim put thru on your car(i don't think SOA samples customer pay work)...after 3-4 claims they will send you a survey to rate that quality of work performed and also to see how your experience with the car and service and reliability are. That's the only way, you could try mysubaru.com but i wish i had more customers like you. I have gotten bashed on 8 of 32 surveys lately because of parts being on backorder. and that's @ a 16% response rate. If all the customers that loved the people they have work on their cars would fill out those forms our lifes(and pay) would be much greater then it is. but the honest to god truth is those surveys are long and ask the same damn question 4 times.

Kevan 10-07-2002, 02:13 AM I have a Subaru dealer close to me that is absolutly the best car dealership I have been too, customer service wise. I have not yet purchased a Subaru(waiting for STi, or at least the new style WRX's) but the guys know what their selling. They answered every question I had, were not pushy at all, and were completely honest and forward with me. Every other cardealership I have delt with before has been a bad experience.
