I don't know about you guys but My Car is a lot more fun to drive now that the weather is in the 50's. It feels a lot faster than it used to! Can't wait to go to the track.

View Full Version : Has anyone else felt more power? Eric SS 10-24-2000, 08:20 PM I don't know about you guys but My Car is a lot more fun to drive now that the weather is in the 50's. It feels a lot faster than it used to! Can't wait to go to the track. Eric AaronB 10-25-2000, 08:48 AM I noticed the exact opposite in the spring. My car got significantly slower. It is nice to have more power these days...now I just need a turbo. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif kastle 10-25-2000, 10:37 AM Need or want? There is a distinct difference AaronB 10-25-2000, 04:20 PM k, I believe it is NEED http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif sasim, I wish mine had a turbo to fully utilize the cold weather http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif sasim 10-26-2000, 12:11 AM Turbo cars love the cold weather, colder air equals better combustion equals more power. I know it's darned cold in Scotland and the car goes like vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif SS kastle 10-26-2000, 05:49 PM I think I need a SVX... Red-Imp 10-26-2000, 06:35 PM I wish I were in Scottland driving my car to find out! -Red kastle 10-27-2000, 09:34 AM I'd prefer Australia... Red-Imp 10-28-2000, 10:48 AM I've never been there, but from what I've seen and heard, Scotland has some beautiful country. Australia seems a lot like Arizona, but with more water. -Red AaronB 10-29-2000, 06:52 AM and faster Subarus. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif Puregraphic 10-29-2000, 01:39 PM I was in Australia for 3 weeks in february. I had just bought my 2.5RS, so I was on the lookout for Subaru's. Didn't see one! I saw a lot of Fords. and there is only desert on a small part of Australia, most of it is rainforest and mountains. It's huge! As big as the US, so it seems like a lot of desert, but its no more than is in the United States. Andy_T 10-29-2000, 07:56 PM OT, but the US has more wilderness as a percentage of land mass than Australia does. The image of Australia is somewhat red and dusty, but that's only part of it (much of it is tropical also). Blame Subaru, Paul Hogan and the Australian Tourism Commission for that. There are quite a few WRXs around, but only really in Sydney and Melbourne (I've not noticed any in the other state capitals). If you were in Canberra a few months ago, you would have seen around 250 WRXs in various stages of tune... Andy T Red-Imp 10-30-2000, 06:43 AM Scotland! Australia! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif It's very cool to hear from our friends across the planet. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif If you guys hear about any good deals on vacation packages let me know. I've got a 6-week sabbaticle coming up in 2002. -Red PS: Oh yeah, let us know if you hear any good Subaru news too. kastle 10-30-2000, 07:32 AM UGGFG!~!!!@@!@ Red-Imp 10-30-2000, 07:41 AM http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/confused.gif |
