I got my New WRX last week. I am very satisfied, especially when i spanked the hell out of a Saab 95 on my way home one night. On Saturday I went to the hot imports nights and saw WRXgirl's car (much Props). That night I sported it to the runs in milipitas. I bumpped into a guy with a silver 2.5 and he recommended this sight to me, (if you read this, thanks) so here i am. Seems like you Suby guys have some real comradery. Before I got my suby i had a Hyundai Tiburon, and spent alot of time on thier site. Hows that? I've owned 2 awsome ralley cars, and must admit the WRX could woomp the hell out of my Tib.

Any recomendations for first mods? I've been thinking down pipe, boost controller, or maybe a short shifter. what do you guys think?

Peace,
DREW

With the wagon, tires, then suspension. Engine stuff....well, it depends on how much you value your warranty. I imagine that they won't pip you for stuff like an exhaust, as long as cats aren't being deleted.

I'm still waiting to hear of the first guy who goes in for service under warranty, with a different BOV or boost controller, and what happens. But I imagine, Magnuson-Moss notwithstanding, that it won't be good.

I'll be doing the wheels/tires, and DMS Gold suspension on my wagon first (when it shows up...waaaah!). Following will be brake upgrades, like SS lines and perhaps a single stage booster. I'll also put on a cat-back Stromung which, with three cats in line will be a sound mod mostly, but I miss that Stromung tone.

Welcome, and find your way over to the WRX forum. It's a fun place, too.

Congrats on the new wagon! I picked mine up last week, and I cannot wait until it's broken in! I'm thinking that my upgrade order will be tires, pads, intake (prob just filter change), exhaust.

hey guys and girls, I had an idea. Back when i was on the tiburon website we had a So Cal meeting of tiburons. It was unoffical and only 5 cars but it sure was fun cruising together. If there are any bay area scooby owners out there that wanna cruise skyline blvd. (where the crotch rockets ride, near redwood city) I was wondering if you wanna meet up. Post a reply, or drop an email.

I'd be down for a drive. Maybe you should post in the Bay Area forum to get things organized.

Oh, and congrats on the car http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
