Just curious, and also include why you chose the tire you chose.
I will be running on my half used up RE92's which did well in the Colorado Springs snow between Feb-May of this year. I suspect they might suck now, since most of the factory siping was burned up in autocrossing this summer before I switched to RE730's http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif
The BFG R1's and RE730's will stay in the garage...

Then again, Utah has a LOT less persistent snow than CO down in the valley.

Hmmmm...
Eric Gagnon of http://reperformance.8m.com (also in egroups SPCR) once told me that his A520's "sucked" in the snow. He is up in Bozeman Montana. Good thing you don't get much snow.
Next?

Larry,
Last winter I ran Hakkapolita Q's on the OBS; I really don't think you can get a grippier tyre. The only problem is they will "cup" from the heat.

I will be running my mostly used up RE92's. We shall see how they fair(sp?) in the snow after 6 autocrosses.

I am running 185-65-15 Hancook Studded snow tires. We get a fair amount of snow up here so i like the narrow tread design and the studs for extra traction. I have drivin both studded and studdless on the RS and i still like the traction on the studded tires. Then again we usually have about 2-3 months when we don't see pavement, Just snow and ice covered roads.
On a side note: If you spend alot of time on the highway or paved roads stay away from studded tires. They are loud and handle poorly. Look at the Blizzack and Pirrelli. Both are very nice and handle well. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

copec says his 215/50/16 a520s are better in the snow than the RE92s that came with it.
Go figure!
In Bozeman, the snow falls and usually doesn't melt the whole year. If we have snow on the streets for more than 2 says its unusual.
