All you snowriders out there -

I think it would be pretty cool to organize a ski/snowboard trip for those of us that are addicted to the snow. Who's up for it? I was thinking of sometime in mid January. Destination is undecided. Let me know what you think.

I am up for it, as long as I don't have to have shoulder surgery again...Lets go to Vail

Depending on the location, I am up for it!

Snow status in Utah: Brighton Ski Resort is opening on the 9th ( 40"+ base already), and I am going to be there!!! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif

I'm in too...but probably only if its to somewhere the Vail pass covers. I need to use my other money for mods. I'm addicted. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

Well, I guess I should have expected the Vail Resorts thing. I think I am one of the few that bought the Winter Park/Copper Mtn pass. However, I would be up for it if we did a Vail resort.

Stimpy - How far of a trip is it for you? I think most people here are gonna be up for a location somewhere in the Summit County region.

I think its like an 8 hour drive or thereabouts. However, I have relatives in Easter Utah, so I can split the trip up. Some buddies and I were thinking about going down to Vail anyways, so the drive is probably irrelevant.

Any of you guys ever go to Steamboat?

I went to college there (CMC). I visit Colorado a couple times a year. Next visit is around Jan. 6 for a friend's B-day.

Anyway, maybe we'll meet up someday. I'm sure I'll visit the guys at JC Sports again.

Also, Steamboat is about 6 hours from Salt Lake City (Hwy 40). See ya sometime, Adam

BTW, Anyone go to SEMA?

Steamboat rules! That has to be my favorite mountain in the state. I would be up for it. However, we would definately want to procure lodging. That drive sucks after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.

YEAH! I agree

It just so happens that my friend owns a condo on the mountain. We lived there during the summers.

I'll have to check in to it, but maybe I can work something out for staying there. No guaranties, but who knows. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

Anyone been up to Breckenridge or Keystone yet? If so, is it worth the drive for however many trails they have open? Thanks.
...hoping for more snow up there http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

Sounds good Paul!

I'll definately let you know, it may be awhile, but I will for sure.

I still have many friends who have never left, so there is still many possiblities.

Anyways, Steamboat isn't any good until Dec/Jan. So we got some time! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

Any of the Vail resorts or Copper, and now Winter Park will work for me. I have to use my 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek is also good, Copper, or Winter Park too.

Keystone sucks - crowded and all icy groomed runs - the Outback is always rocky between bumps. Breck's runs are too short, and crowded also.

Kewl. I'm glad this thread has been brought back from the grave. Anyway, can any of you guys that have Vail resorts passes get cheap tickets to Beaver Creek? The terrain is not terribly challenging, but there are never any lines and you can just bomb the groomers.

My vote is for Copper. Let COWanna go know in advance. Cause Mr. Beer Wench works weekends. :p (which means he gets to ride during the week when its not packed.)

Hmm. The 22nd is the Karting. The 23rd? Or does it need to be a weekday...

Copper during the week sounds good. I can take a day off.

Lets go to Copper on Tuesday in a couple of weeks then Paul and anyone else. If you guys get a bunch of people for a weekend, I'll see about getting it off.

You can buy Vail/BC tickets from our passes for $55 through Feb. 14, and $65 after that:
http://www.snow.com/products/onesite.rates.asp

Feb. 22, I'll already be at Copper racing - you guys can come watch.

Mondays or Tuesdays are best for me.
