I'm moving out to Boulder this month from Virginia. And I was wondering what there is to do competition-wise during the winter. And I also wanted to say hello.
We can run almost year round in VA (I run in STS, with a Black '98 Impreza). I'll be doing the Winter Driving School at Steamboat.
Thanks, Mark
Howdy. Welcome to the neighborhood. What are the specs (dates, cost, etc) on the driving school in Steamboat? Thnx.

Paul,
Don't know all the particulars I'm afraid. The fellow that runs it and some of the instructors are friends of mine, this is just something I've wanted to do for ages. Now that I'll be in the neighborhood, so to speak, I'll finally get to do it. When I get more info I can post here.

I remember the Winter Driving School in Steamboat, it always looked fun.
In the 4 years that I lived there, I never took avantage of it, maybe I will this year when I come out to visit in Jan.
I also remember people tearing up the course WASTED in the middle of the night after the bars closed. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif

Mark, the winter autoX season won't start till Jan. There is usually one ice race at Georgetown Lake. Also, there are ice races down near the Springs if you fell like making that drive.
