It was a good time, just too damn cold. I managed huge slide in the ITR... I never lost control of the RS... hmm... anyway, it was an interesting course. Definitely not representative of what the courses are normally like.

I freakin loved the elevation change in the course, especially the off camber downhill turn! Never came close to a slide, and I managed something like the 4th fastest time of the day on RE92's... I get bragging rights http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif

No, I have bragging rights, because I ran dead even with a turbo car that's technically faster than yours with the same suspension. He's got a ball bearing turbo. So, NEENER NEENER NEENER http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/tongue.gif. (hehehe) Actually, I was surprised at the results. I might stay N/A so I can beat you there since you're never at the drags http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif. I'm ONLY 2.5 seconds slower than you. It would have been about 1.5 or 2 if my last run was clean. I'm figuring out how to slide this car effectively on pavement. Dirt isn't a problem, but I don't want to do a traction roll if you know wudda mean. We'll see about February. I'll prolly need a clutch by then.

Larry, Fauth still beat you by 3 seconds, in a stock ITR, how do you explain that? You've got about 50hp on him...

Anybody know who/what car had the fastest time overall and what class they were running in?

David Fauth not only won by PAX but by raw time in a GS Integra Type-R

Sorry, but Fauth was only 2.012 seconds faster, and I was on crappy stock RE92's and he was on Hoosiers! If I have to explain the 2-3 seconds gained by Hoosiers to you, then you are worse off than I thought http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/rolleyes.gif

We know how you explain away burninrubber being almost 2 seconds faster than you in your ITR... But it was his first time out on those lousy Kumho 712's too (compaired to your RE010's)!

PS: Plus I know my 2 year old used BFG-R1's will only stick a little better than my RE730's - they are hard as rocks. So, when the 2/25/01 autocross comes around, I still don't expect to catch Dave Fauth. As moderator, I will have to leave it at that, and not perpetuate this word fest or drag it out.

The ITR is not my daily driver.
The ITR has bald 010's on it, a full season of auto-x and 9k street miles.
It was only the second event I've driven the car.

Lousy 712's? They're brand new Larry, get your facts straight.

Don't worry Gary, in a couple months you won't be able to touch my times in the ITR. Trust me. I was as fast as most of the ST Subarus last year in my stock RS. Larry just doesn't seem to comprehend the fact that I need to drive a car for a while to get the hang of it. And he's upset because he spent so much money and still can't catch a stock ITR.

If I hear one more thing about comparing the ITR to an RS I'm going to smack someone. I think the ITR gives me the best shot at winning GS, so that's what I'm going to drive. If you don't like it, I don't really give a ****.

I am sorry - I did not wish for this to be a flame fest. I was having fun with El Kabong but apparently offended him. It is hard to tell when he is being serious or funny, but this looks real.
