My dealer has informed me that my WRX has cam seal damage. Any ideas on what this is and why I would have this? :confused:
They are having to order parts to fix it.
My car has no modifications and is relatively new (a couple months).
Of course it is under warranty, but I am curious what exactly is going on.
Also the guy on the phone may not have had any idea what he was talking about... :( but he said "cam seal damage" and I wrote it down.

it needs a cam seal, it happens, occasionally you get one that was caught on the lip and torn from the factory, just takes a lil time to fail...things like this do happen, it's no biggie.
