I just bought a Nitro powered r/c car! I needed a cheaper hobby than my car:p These things are bad-ass.

Who told you it is a cheaper hobby. Just like a real car you will want to make it faster and handle better $$$. Then you start breaking stuff $$$. Good luck with your cheaper hobby.

I bought an on-road HPI RS4-3 type ss! top speed is like 46 mph!

I have an RC10GT with a Hyper series OS max .12 CV-x. One fast little sum -biatch. Tell you something though, I'v learned alot about suspension set-up from messing with that thing. Everything is pretty much the same as a real car, except smaller. BTW, Over time I probably end up putting more money in the RC car than my WRX.

I bought a WRX WRC body! I haven't painted it yet, but will post pick when I'm done!

I just finished with the break-in and leaned it out a bit....Holy ****! 1+ horsepower, AWD, and 2 speed transmision is stupid fast! It handles well too. Drifting is sweet.

R/C stuff is far from cheap!!!!!!
I used to have several nitro R/C planes!!!! I quit flying them when I bought my car!!!:D I could aford them anymore!!!! I had an off road tenth scale buggy a couple of years ago!! I used to build dirt tracks in the desert to race on!!!!

John, if you think the cars are bad ass, we should go out to the feild where the planes fly!!!! There's alot more tricks you can do in the air!!!;) :D

Beter than that you should check out the R/C jets!!!! With real mini jet engines!!!:D :cool:

I have to agree I don't know whats more expensive my R/C cars or my WRX. I have a 2.5 Tmaxx and a Losi XXX-NT.

I have an OS CV-X with a 16T clutch bell, and that thing is a hoot to bash on. Great getup and go, and super schweet air.

I should take it to an auto-x!! Especially some of the smaller tracks. This thing is stupid fast!

2 stroke nitro engines take a lot of patients:mad:

The nitro motors are a pain! I started to get into electric motors for a while. No cleaning, no starting, no tuning! Just charge the batties and go! Instant torque! And they make some pretty powerfull electric motors! The problem is the really heavy batteries you have to haul around, but that isn't such a big deal with a car versus a plane!:D

I've done R/C off and on for the past 11 years. I've probably spent enough on R/C to buy a used real car. When I was a kid, I always thought "when I grow up, I won't even think twice about spending hundred of dollars on this" Now I think "with this money, I could almost buy _______ for my RS, Hmmm...":lol:

Anyway, I currently have an Hpi RS4 Rally with the GC body on it. It's trashed, so I need to fix it up to make it drivable. Fun car, it jumps pretty good too. Here's some blurry shots of it.

i am an R/C freak, I own over 30 r/c cars/trucks and have a large colelction of rare tamiya touring car bodys. Here is my HPI Pro set up as a drift monster.

Yeah, I snapped off the right front tire on my second lap! $5 and 5min later it was fixed. I've been driving it in the Silver Bowl parking lot (right in front of the statium), too.

On the north side of the stadium is where alot of the planes fly! There's a runway up there! Check it out!!
There's also some good off-road rally trails back there!;)

those hpi models are f-ing cool. my friend has the electric rs4 with the 206 body, and that thing hauls and is sooo quiet!

i've got an old AWD tamiya with a toyota prerunner body.

danzee's over on nellis has a pretty cool indoor off-road track.

Danzees is going to turn the indoor track to a carpet on-road track and move the off-road across the street in a empty lot!

Does anyone know how I can post a pic from my digi camera? There used to be a "browse" button?

Also, Hobby People's( Trop-Boulder) prices are good.
