these are cat-backs and they are pretty loud (they include a silencer if its too loud for you). $375 is a great price so i would recommend this if you're looking for a cat-back exhaust.

It wont eliminate any of my cats will it ? Also it will fit a 2003 WRX and which is the quieter of the two.

Man, that's like 1/3 off the regular price. I wish I could have found a deal like this when I got mine. Oh BTW, this is a sweet exhaust... nice deep sound. No coffee can sound with this exhaust. Only a mean rumble. I don't think it's too loud:p

The Exhaust ha a resonater it helps keep the exhaust street legal.

Well The WRX never had a Racing Medalion it was always SUPER racing Medalion, for other cars there WAS a Racing and a SUPER Racing but the Regular racing was discontinued so now there is no Regular Racing for ANY cars only the SUPER Racing medalion...... I just say Racing cuz im too lazy to type out Tanabe Super Racing Medalion Exhaust...:D

no more super racing medallions?

I got the super racing medalion from them and with the silencer it is pretty quiet, just a low rumble while cruising and somewhat loud when hitting the gas, without the silencer my car sounds like a V8.

ok everyone.....call me stupid.....but, why is the silencer so hard to put in and pull out? i havent tried the silencer yet cause its a biatch to put it in...and it never lines up with the other hole.
any advice you guys can give me?

You just have to try and line up the holes as you slide it in. Getting it out is a pain too but not to bad, I can use my fingers. I just leave it out though, it sounds loud but not super loud and I like hearing it, I drive with the windows down just to listen to it.

So Whats The WRX Hyper sould like?......More like a M2 or Prodrive or????
