Hey guys,

One of the earlier 1990's Misubishi cars can be made to look like a Lancer right? I saw a white one at UBC and it looked exactly like the world rally ones with the large foglights and spoiler.

You know what, there is a 1.6 EL that looks even better! If you don't look at the back, you might even think that it is a Mitsu. with Evo kit. But it is actually an "Acura" 1.6 Evo! http://208.9.184.110/NonCGI/wink.gif

Hey Vege, the one you saw is probably the 1.6EL that H5N1's talking about. He usually parks in West Parkade but sometimes park in Rose. Its front end is exactly like the EVO 4 and he's got the EVO 4 rear wing too. But look closely (especially the rear light cluster and interior http://208.9.184.110/NonCGI/wink.gif) and you'll see it's a 1.6EL.

Oh, forgot to mention, there's also an old Mitsubishi Mirage running around with the EVO 3 body kit. Saw him a few times already.

yeah...there are two "Lancer" in the lower mainland now...one is like H5N1 mentioned...a custom fit body kit of a Lancer Evo onto an Acura 1.6EL...i heard that kit was $8,000 installed...Gee... http://208.9.184.110/NonCGI/tongue.gif

I have seen the 1.6EL outside of Monkeys in Richmond..
Wow it looks so nice... at first I was like "what duh... I never knew they sold Lancers up here"
Then my friend told me that he knew the guy and it's actually a 1.6EL...
I was like.. whoa...

I saw the white Mirage w/EVO3 kit that 5Zigen mentioned at the Cdn Tire down on Marine Dr. I did a double take when I first saw it, like "what the f*@$ is a Lancer doing here?" Then I looked a little more closely (hey it was dark out) and "gee, nice Lancer-wannabe, with the Lancer badge on the trunk." The steel wheels with cheapo plastic covers gave it away, otherwise it looked pretty convincing. A Mirage I can understand, but a 1.6EL??? I guess everyone marches to their own tune.

I park at Fraser... missed that car...

At what time and where will that car park there? I want to have a look!

hey i saw that 1.6 few time at coquitlam
it sure look nice from far away but when u get closer than.............
that body kit is not 100% fit on the 1.6EL

I saw a guy in town driving that 1.6 EL and I was trying to explain how amazing the Lancer is to my girlfriend when I realized that it was a front-drive no torque Honda. Man, people will spend money on anything.

I think someone said $8,000...you must be joking. I can't wait to find that guy again and do circles around him in my new turbo. (When it arrives in Canada of course)
