Thumbs up guys! I can only imagine all the dirt that was in your cars. My air filtration system lasted about 45 minutes when I ran the car through the dirt.

How is your clear coat on the sides of the cars?

You've seen rally cars with the nicks and scrapes in the paint behind the wheelwells and down the side of the car? Yeah? Well that is exactly what you see when you look at these guys' cars. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Gosh that looks like an awesome hunk of property. How did you guys ever get permission to go rallying about the farm like that.

Weren't the owners concerned about liabilities?

I was told by my friend BoB (who let us in there) that the owners of the property read the I-Club board and that they were not happy with us being there, after they seen the pictures. So here`s my letter to them.

First of all I would like to thank you for letting Bob take us there. It was the most fun I ever had. I know you are VERY concerned with safety, which I understand, but I would like to assure you that there are no risks of any kind related to us being there. It might look dangerous and the jumps were little high, But the truth is the jumps and turns were done in second gear with speeds around 45 MPH, and we all had helmets.
Also we fixed up the roads after we were done. I would like to talk to you so please E-mail me at gdrozd@yahoo.com

Thanks a lot again.
Greg

The owners understand and they like rally too. They were just concerned about every guy in IL with Impreza wanting to come to their farm.

NICE AIR! I gotta find me some dirt roads... The roads around here are all tight little logging roads, no jumps. But hey I'm a 'newbie' driver so I guess I sohuld lay off the jumps for a couple more days http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

Not saying those jumps aren't "all that", (they're awesome) but, maybe you should take them back out and show them that it wasn't as big, or as dangerous as it looks on the pic. Air shot photos have a way of making it look like big air, but in real time they end up being just little hops.

Greg555

Exactly. Those hills were so steep that anything over 35 MPH would give you air. So this is not like crazy 120 MPH over a bump to catch a little air and get killed.
