I write auto reviews for a small magazine in the Northwest and have been trying to get a Baja review vehicle for the past 6-months. I heard from my rep just yesterday that they may finally get one from Subaru by the end of January and, since I've been bugging them since last Summer, I'm slated to get first dibs.

I can only imagine this lack of availability to the motoring press has limited mass exposure for the Baja. Not everyone reads Car and Driver to learn about new cars.

Just wanted to inject the Baja faithful with some good news for 2003. The review cars are finally coming out of the closet.
