Specifically what about drivetrain layout? They've been a intercooled flat-four turbo 2.0-litre that has made from 240-300hp over the years. The GC8 has been the base of models 1-6, the bugeye for model 7, the newest facelift is model 8.

Check apexjapan.com links for japan sportscar, there should be a bunch of model information there.

If you are wondering about which had the DCCD, then it's only the TypeR and TypeRA, these also came with a close ratio lower geared box. These also had a mechanical rear LSD. The TypeRA also came with a mechanical front LSD and a quickrack.

The normal STi's (non TypeR/RA) had a normal Viscous centre diff and gearbox. All STi's had a lower final drive ratio than the UK/Euro/USA spec cars though being 4.44:1.
