More wrecked WRXs than 350Zs? That's the only thing I can think of.

Considered yourself lucky. I got quote for 4500 a year and I'm almost 21 and got clear record (got my licence 3 years ago too!).

P.S. I live in Queens NY too!:(

I use USAA and I currently pay 1320 a year in GA. The great thing for me is when I go back to MA it's goint to drop to 900 a year. I'm also 25 with a clean record so that definately helps my cause.

Wow! About $10000 cost of first year of owning a WRX, when you include 1st year depreciation!

Probably, but the z's are beginning to wreck too.:o

In fact, a guy test driving one was concerned that it didn't have enough power, so he tested it, and wrecked it. He still bought one though.:)

My insurance rates are $1236.00 a year ($103 US per month) covering myself and my wife. This is for two vehicles, 2002 Outback LL Bean and a 2002 WRX Wagon. No tickets, no accidents for either of us - EVER.

We're also with a local insurance company (Bear River Mutual) that only insures people within the State of UT. Their policy demands that you cannot touch drugs or alcohol. You can't even have a beer.

I'm pissed. Allstate just raised my insurance from $275 for 6 months to $475 with no explanation. I had 4 cars for two drivers on my policy and now I have three and the premium went up over 10%. 95% of the increase is on the Subie. Insurance companies gouging the public again.

Mine is $858/year for my '03 sedan through Allstate. Of course, I'm 29, married (for a few more months - long story) and have 2 children and a clean record.

Heh, I know how you feel. When I first got my WRX coming up on 2 years ago I was paying $175 every 6 months for full coverage (I'm over 25 and live in Idaho) now its $395 every 6 months. I'm just thankful i'm not one of you other people, jesus I'd park the thing and start riding my bike, for 4500 a year I could buy one hell of a mountain bike.

Every one can stop thier bitching I pay $1800 every six months. One car clean record. It's the beauty of living in the Motor City by time I get it paid off I would have paid for it in insurance. If I was a punk boy living in the burbs it would be half.

Companies had the nerve when I was looking to quote me ofer $8000 a year for insurance on a $24g car. 1/3 of the car price per year. When I question why they thought that was fair they question why I live in Detroit. Damit they live in the burbs too.
