I am just wondering should all STi parts be the best for the Impreza to perform at its best manner?? Or they are kinda just selling the brands??

Thanks!

depends on who you ask...

STi is basically factory stuff in japan... even the guys in the UK dump STi stuff and upgrade...

me personally?
i think it's quality stuff that's overpriced... you are paying for the NAME...

there are other options out there...

Agreed. Parts ARE good, but you're paying for the name of STi.

Yes, all STi parts are good, but they are not always the best, and are almost never the best value.

Yeah.. good, but not always the best. And usually overpriced. I think the most revolting example of overpricing is the STi intake pipe.. yours for a mere $800 http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/eek.gif

I agree with Subie Gal. Most of the UK guys dump the STI Parts and upgrade to Prodrive parts. It's good stuff (STI) but way overpriced! Prodrive parts are awesome and you pay for the quality!

Well now...

STi is actually the aftermarket branch of Subaru. This means that the parts STi makes are actually UPGRADES on any Subaru part. This is opposed to the Subaru-made parts on, say, an STi version WRX.

Expensive, but it all depends whether you think the specific engineering and factory backing are worth it.

Yes they are all good. Not all good values, though.

Just to add...
Many STi parts are not made in Japan anymore.
Taiwanese labor is really cheap!
