Hey all,
This is just showing everyone how much a dyno tune can do for your car. This is in no way to bash on any vendor and this is just the results for my car only. Dyno was done on the same day in Vishnu's shop. This is also an off the shelfmap for the Utec with no tuning and only 16psi.

Mods that count are
M2 Uppipe
M2 Turboback with highflow cat
Turboxs Tmic
GFB pulley kit
STi Injectors
Perrin Fuel rails
VF30
91 Octane winter gas

I hit 250whp and 223tq

Many thanks go out to Shiv and crew for the excellent customer service.

Dyno tune took about 2 hours and as you can see from the results it was well worth it. The car pulls like a freight train and when Shiv took me for a test drive just after the tuning session I was actually scared for the first time since modding my car and Shiv was driving.

I drove in with a Utec on and we decided to dyno it to see the numbers.

The car is just as smooth as stock only with 250whp.

Man, those are some good numbers. Did they try tuning the utec at all? Regardless, the ecutek hp curve is so silky smooth I doubt a utec could match such results. Are you using an aftermarket fuel pump? I understand the rails and injectors can help flow but I would think it would still run a bit lean w/o a fuel pump.

Btw, I was the other guy getting the ecutek flash before you. Shiv does drive like a madman, the roads were a bit damp and he drove around that loop faster than I drive when its dry out  ... I only got a stage 1 and was scared ****less, I can only imagine holding that computer with Shiv driving a stage 2 ... I'd prob break the laptop.

We didnt bother tuning the Utec at all. I was there to get the Ecutek and I am quite glad I did too. I am running a walbro fuel pump also so the fueling is fine.

I was doing my best to hold onto his laptop... I realized soon after he started driving that I need new brakes now. He even commented on it. But damn is this thing smooth.

Did you dyno stage 1 at all or just a reflash?

I can agree with Shiv driving your car. I was SCARED  I didn't know my car could go that fast (of course sitting in the passenger seat makes it seem faster, but still)!!

At what boost did you run to hit 250hp, I've seen more horsepower with the same mods that you have but with the utec, 286hp @17.8psi. diference on boost could explain the diference on horsepower.

It was tuned on 17psi peak with 11psi by redline. Also you have to remember this is on Dyno Dynamics dyno which reads lower than the other dynos out there. You have to add approx 7-15% to equal the same whp.
Vishnu has an excel spreadsheet that can show you the difference. Plug in 350 crank hp and it will fill in the rest. http://www.vishnutuning.com/How%20Big%20Is%20Your%20Horsepower.xls
