How do I change the tranny fluid, diff. fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and clutch fluid, and the fuel filter?
How much is needed of each fluid?
Do I have to change fluid in rear diff. and center diff? and is there antoher diff to change fluid in?
Also, how do I check and adjust the parking brake?
Sorry for all the questions and especially if they are dumb. Please help me anyway if you can.
Thanks in advance
Peace
Jim

1) Tranny oil (5spd):
Unbolt the drain plug. After drained, close it, and pour tranny fluid from the tranny oil dipstick using a funnel and a tube. Don't worry about the center and the front diff because they are all connected to the tranny.
2) Rear diff oil
Unbolt the drain plug. After drained, close it, and pour oil from the top plug. The bolts are on the backside of the diff.
3) Brake fluid
You need 1 more person. All you have to do is get rid of the old fluid in the reservoir, pour new one in, then starting from RR wheel (?), have someone pump the brake, then open the bleed port. Repeat this a few times. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, have it done by a service center. If you make a mistake, then brakes won't work correctly.
I think the working procedure is:
RR wheel -> FL wheel -> RL wheel -> FR wheel.
Do a search and you'll know. This procedure depends on a car.
4) Clutch fluid
Same as brake fluid change.
5) Power steering fluid change.
The easiest way to do this is to disconnect the lower hose on the reservoir, and, pour new fluid in. Bleed the system by turning the steering wheel from left to right.
6) Parking brake check
I don't know how to do this on RS. I know it on a Civic. Actually, the best bet is, park the car on a hill. Pull the e-brake until you hear 7-10 clicks. If the car doesn't move, you're probably fine.

And a fuel filter.
1) Loosen the gas filler cap.
2) Loosen the inlet and outlet hoses very slowly. Watch out; there is some pressure left on the line. And do not smoke!
3) Get the filter out of the place.
4) Put the new filter in.
5) Make sure the inlet tube on the filter is fitted to the inlet hose, and outlet tube on the filter is fitted to the outlet hose.
6) Put the gas cap on.

Thanks, tmat3. Now does anyone know how much I need of each fluid?
Does anyone know if that is the proper procedure(pattern) for bleeding brakes on the RS?

Do you have an owners manual? All the capacities you are looking for should be in there.
