I am going to change my Power steering fluid and bought some Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid to do that. When I looked at the owner's manual it said to use ATF Dexron II, II E, or III. What should I use?

use atf. I used p/s fluid on my last car (88pulsar)when the manual said atf. the pump sounded like a ford p/s pump until I changed it to atf

Always use what the manual says. Otherwise, you can develop a p/s problem (i.e. leak, pump failure).
