Sup guys. I have been pondering for about three weeks now about getting a vf22 or not. I have found a pretty good price on one. The problem is if I want one or not. I would be restricted to around 12 psi safely and **I definitely do not want to be slower than my current setup: bov, hpmbc@15psi, turboback, and up-pipe**. I tried doing bunches of searches on nasioc, iclub, and clubwrx after type c did a search for me. Azscoobie told me 14psi would be fine after I get a fuel pump, but that seems a little high and I definitely do not want to blow the engine. He told me he ran 12.9 with that setup. I have ran 8.5 in the eighth(mid to low 13s) Although he is very knowledgable. I don't know if I want to drop the 8XX for the fuel pump and turbo combo. I know I want to have a fast ride but I do not want to sacrifice a new engine and a lot of money. I have been trying to think of anything other than turbo that I want but I could not come up with such a thing-rims/autox setup/toys(lol shifter gokart). I know you guys are pondering injectors, rails and management, but that is far ahead of its time. Too much money for now(probably will be at least 8 months to gather that much money). What should I do? Will a turbo swap make me faster? **Sigh** I been debating and debating all over. I need your help!

why would you be limited to 12psi:confused: the stock rex peaks at like 13-14psi so I think you would be safe to 15psi. Just make sure you get some kind of engine management and you'll be ok and i dont even think that 15psi would be maxing out your injectors, but then again i may be wrong:p

12psi safely to redline- might even have to lower it since I have no logging and engine management system.

Read this (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=302963) post, this guy (his SN is Dandbest) was runing an upgraded turbo and stock ECU, and stock fuel delivery and he did fine up to 15.5 psi so i really think you would be ok just get a knock link if you're that paranoid;) :D
