Well today i was driving my WRX in the snow doing spins.. etc. Then all of a sudden it was very hard to turn my steering wheel... The first thing that came to mind was that i lost my power steering. So I wait for awhile and think. Then I turn off my car and turn it back on. And drive around. The car feels as if it was heavy and hard to turn. But the more i drove it the better it got alittle bit. Well it to the point right now where it feels heavy when i'm turning the steering(while parked).... But when i'm moving it is easier to steer. The steering wheel also turns back when i'm turning. I dont know what the problem is... Has this happened to anyone else?.. Maybe i need more power steering Fluid? I think i might take it to Subaru tommrow and get a check-up.. Let me know!

Your power steering lines may have come loose. It happened to me a while ago, and all the fluid just drained right out. Get under there and tighten things up, or take it to the dealer.

Were you holding your wheel locked to one side for a while? You may have overheated your powersteering pump and broken it.
