Just in case you did not know, or if I am the only one having this problem.

After I reply to a PM in my mailbox, the origional message goes away. It would be nice to be able to keep the old message for a record.

I know you are working on it. Hopefully it is just a little thing.

Here is a helpful little bit:

Send reply: sending a reply will send the entire private message back to the person you are responding to. This also means that the private message will no longer be available to you. All private messages only have one owner at any given time.

So if you want to keep it, you have to send back a new message, not a reply.

It's not a bug... you already have a copy of the PM in your e-mail. So you're not losing anything.

This is a good thing... once again because people abuse features. PMs aren't another place for you to store messages. It was a simple means of communication. Somewhere along the way people forgot that.

Say you want to send a pm to a member. You can't search for a message from them so you can send a pm. You have to hunt them down, because you can't add them to your buddy list.

Eek.
