I want to sell my factory sub but people wanted the harness too. Well I pulled the stereo and followed the harness up and it actually runs into some other wires before it ends in a conector. In other words you can't just unplug the sub harness. Can anyone confirm or debate this? Any solutions? Anyone want to buy the sub for$75 shipped w/o harness??? It was only used for 6 months. Let me know.

i just installed a factory sub, and one little wire runs to the side of the head unit for gounding. remove that. then the harnessfrom the sub splits into two directions. there should be a harness not far from where they divide on each end, which conveniently plug back into each other sans sub harness. i could be wrong, if the dealers or whoever installed it do it a different way than my instructions told me. but that sounds about right.

Well...its a very easy mod IF you have the oem harness. Without the harness .............wayyyy harder!

Most buyers will want/expect the harness to come with the sub.

The harness simply unplugs. I may buy it, if you include the harness. :)
