This forum is looking a little sad lately so just a quick question that is not very technical so I thought I would post it in here...

What are the sound volume differences between the hyper and racing tanabe exhausts??
I know that they can have silencers on them but I wanted to hear what peoples experiences between them is and maybe the felt gains from these systems? Compared to a brullen? Or a Scoobysport?

I am having problems finding the NA crowd reviewing these systems...everyone seems to be driving a WRX these days....:confused:

I have the Hyper medallion on my car,and a friend has the racing, I think the racing made slightly more (1 hp or so on a Gtech) But the Hyper is much better sounding,very throaty,as opposed to the racing which is throaty but in a Honda kind of way.It sounds even better now with the turbo:devil:

Not sure if this will help you out much but I have an Apex'i N1 and love it. It took me a while to finally decide on an exhaust for my car. I took many factors into consideration such as sound, apperance, and durability. After sifting through the many choices I went with the Apex'i and haven't looked back since. The sound is great. Not as deep as the Stromung or scoobysport, but very very sweet none the less.

In conjunction with an intake the sound becomes intoxicating.

once you get up past 4k and you're on it( with the racing ) it opens up and to me is considerably louder.. the hyper'd probably do you just fine.

I have a catless and banged out stomung exhaust 3" turbo back, and its pretty quiet. I used to have one of those jdm more style exhausts but it was too loud for me.
