My first mod... it sent me on an empty-wallet, money-blowing downward spiral of modifications

http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/modifications/exterior/grillmod/grillmod.html

The first mod, and the of many I have documented, and the start of the Ravensblade-Impreza.com website :D

Hey Brian. :)

My first mod I believe was the Whiteline 18-22m adjustable rear swaybar. I put it in at 18mm and left it there for about a year and a half, changed it to 20mm a while after I put my STi Ver5 suspension in.

It might've been the Kartboy shifter & bushings, but I think it was the swaybar.

In retrospect I should've gotten an STi 18mm, because the Whiteline has given me troubles, but oh well.

Bought mine used, so the first thing was to fix the damage to it, also the engine had a coat of dirt on it so it needed some serious cleaning. It was keyed, dented, and the turn signal lights on the front bumper were cracked as well as the windshield. Take a look at the link to see where she stands now.

Hard to say which mod was first. Besides some of the other mods mentioned here, the one I'm most happy with was this:

3M heavy duty protective film on the headlights and those big, vulnerable fog lights.

(Having gone through three headlights and two fogs in one year with my previous car - damn gravel trucks)

3 years and not a scratch.
