Heads up to everyone who was interested in coming to the PPSCC Ice Races
this Sunday. The event has been cancelled due to unsafe ice conditions
at this time. I surveyed the ice this morning and felt foolish for
walking out as far as I did. (Good conditions for a canoe race though.)

We are still planning to run our scheduled Feb 23 event pending the
return of good ice conditions. We will keep you posted as things
develop.

Pres. PPSCC

Its a sad year as far as precipitation goes. Hopefully it will pick up or we are in for another fun summer.:(

Well, maybe the weather patterns are going to change. The forcast is for heavy snow tonight--up to 8-10 inches in northern Teller county. Keep your fingers crossed.

Todd,

Did it snow in Divide? We got some up here.

Yep! :) About 6 inches at my house, and it looked like 3 or so Woodland Park. My exhaust was dragging in the snow in my driveway.

But it was sunny all day, so some of the snow melted. Looks like a chance for some more later this week.

Everywhere I looked this morning I saw slow, fish tailing pickups and SUVs...
