Well .... even though I am new to the NASIOC, I may have to give up my 2000 2.5 RS within the year :( . It is uncertain if it will definitely happen, but I want to be prepared if it does. I wanted to ask what car I should get if I cannot keep my Impreza. Ill probably have somewhere between $12000 and $15000 to spend on the next car, but I really don't know what to get next. Any advice or suggestions would be great. Thanx!

if you have that much to spend?
then why do you have to give up the car?
Jamie
Do I go into details about his car or not? Or should you buddy? I think you should get rid of the one you have and just buy another one!

If your car is heavily modded, which it sounds like, you could always just part it out. If you have to sell it, how about a modded 240SX? I've always loved those cars.

JC, I think you want to move to the complete opposite spectrum. I'll answer for him. His car is currently on a lease, the lease will be up within a year, and some other stuff...

Well alot of my friends who used to have the 2.5rs sold their cars and moved into either an IS300(luxury sporty) or the 350z.
I'll most likely get the Neon SRT4:lol:

So then are you progressing or regressing with that purchase?

Find a '94 Turbo DSM awd in good shape for around $7k and put $7k into it. You would have a seriously balanced, low 12 second car (at altitude). So long WRXs.

a base TDI golf with bigger injectors, chip, exhaust, and a bit of fine tuning...
0-60 you'd OWN everyone, run a decent enough 15.5 1/4, the myriad of aftermarket suspension parts for GTi's bolt right on, and you get 600+ miles to a tank of gas...
at least that's my plan for when the subie goes... ;)
