so I know this is probably a basic problem that I should know, if i think hard enough but my head is pounding right now...

my car "trembles" when i take a corner fast if im at a complete stop, the wheel knocks in my hands and shudders the car, im guessing i shouldnt turn so fast at a stop, but I guess thats another problem all together...ye it never did this before

am i ruining my car? or what is wrong?

Your outside tire is lifting and skipping off the pavement. The problem is very noticeable if you've ever driven a FWD Impreza. You don't need that much throttle to pull away from a stop ;).

You may have a problem with center diff. Is your car an automatic?

Dont sweat it, where theres a will theres a way, Im sure we can find a solution once we figure out what it is, then we can look into what it would cost to get it fixed or for parts... You never know it could be a stupid 20$ balljoint, which you can probably do?

Let me know man..

You know, back when I was really stupid  I had rotated my tires on my Sube and went out for a drive. I had been driving for about 10 minutes whe I began to hear a light knocking comeing from the wheels. Now in the past I have had many a problem with CV joints in my honda accord so I was suddenly VERY worried as I am poor:lol: . I pulled over into a McDonalds parking lot and got out to take a look. Well I was so releaved that the knocking wasn't the CV joints but I felt really stupid when I found out what was wrong. the wheel spokes were knocking on the edge of the brake calipers on the front wheels!! Apperently I had tightened the lug nuts but not enough and they lossened over about a 10 min drive!  But I thought that might help you decifer your problem, sweetsuby. (D*mn I really feel stupid now):D

If you are feeling it in your hands, "wheel knocks your hands" it could be your power steering at the "lock-to-lock position." Don't turn the wheel quite as far...does it still do it?

Most always it is the cv joint when you hear a clicking or knocking sound when turning....
