My 99 2.5RS, its got a lot of things on it...some I'd like to part off, others I'm leaving on the car, and even more that if you wanna buy the car and keep some of the things, let me know and we'll figure out prices and such.

-Cusco Rear Strut Tower Bar (no ****in way im taking that thing off, took forever to get on)

Thats about all I can think of at the moment...car has been babied since when I got it, took it to the track once with the current mods and ran a 15.0. Front Right Wheel has a scratch from hitting a curb. Blue Book on the car bone stock in good shape is 11,300...with the alarm, brake pads, strut tower, and foglights, looking for around 11, but very negotiable...PM or respond for more questions, and I'll post more as I think of it...time to start thinking STi baby!

That's an outstanding price for that car and mileage...trying to find an RS around here in the Chicagoland area is like trying to find a stock 91 Mitsu Galant VR-4 or an 85 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86...nearly impossible. Around here your car would sell for 12-maybe 13 grand, easy, due to the RS' rarity in these parts (besides my RS i see maybe 1 other every 3 months or so), but in the end ya just have to wait for the right buyer to come along no matter how low you let the price go...good luck

thats actually kinda funny b/c i bought the car in chicago :P

so, a couple little things to add

1. my car has the 99 factory option rear LSD
2. just rolled past 47,000 miles
3. just changed plugs (to denso iridium), magnacore spark wires, had an alignment, and cleaned out fuel system from winter...runs like a champ!

Let me preface by saying what we should all know by now. Modifications rarely make good financial investments. That said, some of your mods are interesting and would warrant spending a little more than KBB value for the car. It seems like the price for your car can vary quite a bit depending on what remains in/on the car at time of sale. In the list of items that you'd like to part off, I'm assuming that you'd be replacing them with the stock parts. If you were to keep and part off the following what would your price be?

Kenwood HU (no need to install the stocker, just toss it in the trunk, I have a JVC that willl go in)
STi short shifter (as long as linkage stays, I'm happy)
Borla Header (you state in a later post that the car is quieter without it, I like quiet)
JC Sports intake (again, I like quiet)
If you have the stock corner and turn signal lenses and think that someone would like to buy the clears you could keep those too

If possible, it would be pretty cool to have a price quote that includes transport to Tampa, FL.

now have just installed gymkhana 4 way front/8 way rear adjustable shocks and an eibach prokit, so it handles like a dream...

will leave everything on or will part out, just need to sell it asap...make offers...please...
