View Full Version : Wheel Lug Torque Specs

Does anyone know the correct wheel lug nut torque spec? Is it the same for stock wheels as well as aftermarket (17")? I couldn't find this in the manual. You'd think they would specify this as most people would change wheels/tires between summer and winter (not to mention the auto-xers).

Also, if you buy a torque wrench, do they usually come with several adjustable torque settings?

I read an article on speedoptions on how much you should torque your lugs. They said about 75 to 80 ft pounds of torque.
I torque wrench has several adjustable setting. Craftsman make a few. I think the article is still on speedoptins if you look for it.
