Specs for what? Horsepower? Bolt torque? Spring rates? Fluid capacity? How many were made? Specifics would be most helpful ;).

0-60 takes about a month. :lol: I think it's like 8 seconds or something.

Top speed, if I recall correctly, is like 135mph.

For the '01 sedan sport compact car says
0-60=7.7
1/4=15.7@85.7
skidpad=0.82
redline=6250
60-0=124ft.
Any other stats you need from that just let me know. But yes, coolness factor is 11.

For 0-60 times, we get hurt on paper (numbers), since we've got to shift into 3rd to get to 60mph.

Motorcycle mags compare lap times around racetracks, our cars should do pretty good at that...

O.k, I changed my og post. Dunno what I was thinking. My RS get's to 60 in 3rd... wow... I had a 91 Legacy Turbo (2.2L) and it smashed to 60 in 2nd gear easily. I wonder why that is? Also, has anyone whos ever rev'ed their car past redline notice a lag or cut off soon after? I was driving my friends 02 just to feel his clutch and he told me to gun it and that happened. I've never gone near redline with my car. Anyone know why RS's do this?

the RS is notorious for rediculously short gears (which i happen to enjoy). even my legacy wagon hits speeds at lower rpms, but then again by 5000 the engine sounds like its going to explode whereas the rs is designed to hit high revs quicjkly and effortlessly. coasting at 65 in 5th in the rs is around 2500-3000 easy but in the legacy its about 2250-2500.
anyway, i love how it sounds like the engine is right in front of you in the rs...because it is!

The car is definately cool and unique. That's one of the reasons why I got one. It does have short gears, and I don;t mind them.
I have a question though, at what rpm's should I shift at when Im going from 1st to 2nd gear? 1st gear comes on fast and I sometimes dont shift smoothly when going in to second.

Do I take my foot of the clutch fast after i go into 2nd? Or do I let it out slowly?
thanks. I need to figure out at what rpm's it's goo to shift at. I dont want to redline her and mess her up. I haven't yet.
