I haven't even gotten my car yet but does anyone know if you can have the foglights on without the headlamps and just with the parking lights?

You can't with it still stock from the factory. There is a mod though on this website that allows you to have them on without the headlights on. You also have to take the daytime running light hookup out also. Which is no big deal.

I assume you've done this to your car? Is it very difficult? Will it affect anything else?

I have disconnected the daytime running light module. Very easy.
I started working on the foglight mod, which is really not hard, but I never completed it. My soddering tool did not want to work that night, so I said the hell with it and put it all back. I know from others that they have had no problems with it though. Just make sure you get the wires right underneath.
