Ronin2121 03-13-2003, 01:47 AM Will the sandwich adapter hook up straight up to some Phantom Autometer gauges?
Todd
Modified Toys 03-13-2003, 02:47 AM Ronin2121: From I was told it will work with any aftermarket gauge as long it fits..

I would say that depends on whehter or not the threads are BSPT or NPT....
British Standard Pipe Taper...National pipe taper (i think that's what they mean).
Anyway, the difference is one thread per inch.
I got that 17mm bolt to go into the oil pan, and my VDO sender for oil pressure....took me about forever to get that stuff in becasue I needed a 1/8npt to 1/8 bspt adapter.
That adapter is just about impossible to find. good luck
SHObaru 03-13-2003, 08:58 AM Thanks for the pics!
Modified Toys 03-13-2003, 11:37 AM BUMP!!! ASK FOR A QUOTE ON THE NEW BLITZ GAUGES!!!
dookiebob 03-13-2003, 11:48 AM So what aftermarket gauges will fit? I'm interested in getting one, but I would like to know the thread size/type before I do.

saggioWRX 03-13-2003, 05:59 PM Question: Everytime you change your oil and filter, does this adapter just fall out? Do you need to replace the gaskets after a few oil changes? If so, do you sell extra gaskets?
Thank You
TMD
driggity 03-13-2003, 06:14 PM Dave, I assume its like my Greddy adaptor which stays on the car whenever you remove the filter. You can look at it tomorrow.

garface 03-15-2003, 01:54 PM I would think that this won't work with Autometers. Autometers are made for American cars which is why their probes won't fit into Subaru threads without adaptors. Basically if the probe won't screw into your Japanese car, then I don't think it will work with the Blitz or Greddy sandwich. I wish it would though. But an adaptor shouldn't be terrible to find. I think Autometer sells them for $8 or so.
Leonardo 03-15-2003, 02:46 PM So, how low would the filter end up when the WRX alreaddy has an adapter (oil cooler) between the block and the filter?

Slappie 03-17-2003, 12:37 AM Vendor, If you have one of these in stock....I would hope.....Stick some bolts in there and see what the threads are. This info should have been provided in the original post. We should not have to hear excuses about waiting for the info from your supplier. I would buy one if the info was in.
You need to answer the responses to your post, you did start it. You should be very specific, and never vauge. It does not give me that warm fuzzy feeling when you guys don't know exactly what you are selling. If it were me I would be measuring some stuff.
Waiting for info.
Rich
ScreaminFast 03-17-2003, 09:01 AM I have one of these, and they fit both of my Defi BF gauge senders.....so I imagine they will fit all of Defi's line.
Second, I'm going to ASSUME that they fit blitz gauges ;) Just a hunch though :p
