Well, I put in some reverse indiglo gauges a few days ago and now have noticed my tach seems to have a slower reponse. Like when I just rev my engine at a stand still, it takes a sec before the needle climbs (not actually a full second, but longer than I would expect). anyone else notice this, and is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks!

I am not familiar with the way the WRX reverse indiglo gauges are applied, but I imagine that they are just guage face overlays... If that is the case, then they are like the ones that I put on my Explorer.
Did you use anything to secure them to the old gauge faces, or did you just lay them on? I had the same problem as you at first, and it was because the overlay was not laying completely flat, and the tach needle was rubbing the overlay. I fixed it by picking up some of that double-sided tape (the thin stuff that resembles scotch tape but is sticky on both sides, not the thick tape used to hold heavy objects on walls), and using it to secure the overlays to the original gauge faces.
Did that about a year ago and has worked great since then!
