I just got a call from Madison Square Subaru (Huntsville, AL). I brought the WRX in for the 15K mile service, and explained the clutch "judder" problem I was having.... No questions asked, they ordered the parts and will replace them as soon as they come in. I was told the replacement should take about 2 hours.
This place, as I thought, seems to have a great customer oriented business. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the Huntsville area.
YAY!

That's good to hear. I'm going to try and get my clutch and flywheel replaced soon and like to hear this kind of news. Hopefully, it does only take 2 hours or less for the whole replacement process. Good luck.

The difference could be that the one dealership isn't all that busy (not many repairs/services) and the other one is always swamped with calls/repairs/services. At least it's less than a day, so you can get your car back later. I'm leaving my car at the dealership on Monday night so they can test it on Tuesday morning. Funny thing for me is that the clutch judder hasn't really happened in a while. I'm worried that the dealership won't be able to reproduce it and that I would have to make frequent trips until they do reproduce it. All I can do is wait until Tuesday for the phone call saying that they've found it then. It's in the car's hands now.
