im kinda bored and i haven't gone driving for a while.
i was wondering if you guys wanted to get together and go for a drive starting from somewhere around san mateo close to 92.
from there we go towards half moon bay and hit 35, then hit 84, drive back side of 84, take stage rd, and then drive 1 along the coast.

and then mabye we grab some dinner, and do it again, but backwards, and either take 84 down this time all the way to 280 or watever you want.

i know this is kinda late notice...but hey...if u dont have plans for friday by this time already, then you should be free anyway :o

actually, a bunch of us are going for pho in Westlake at 730ish, meeting at DCKK at 7 and then caravanning over, and you are welcome to join. The pho place we are going to is next to Burlington Coat Factory and across the street from the Safeway.

BTW, the DCKK crowd is planning a HWY 1 drive to Half Moon Bay one weekend for lunch, as well as a drive to Sonoma/Napa Valley. Keep an eye out.

no, not east bay. The HWY 1 drive is heading South on HWY 1 to Half Moon Bay (that stretch of HWY 1 known as Devil's Slide). We'll be heading down to HWY 1 South from Skyline, heading down through Pacifica and along the coast all the way to Half Moon Bay. It's a hell of a ride along the coastline and some cliffs, although a short one (about 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic and driving conditions). I don't know if you are in that area already (looks like it from your first post) but you can always drive up 280 to meet us at DCKK, and then head back down along HWY 1. Looks like the drive you have scheduled is south of Half Moon Bay. The drive we have planned starts from the North. Hey, if there is any interest, we can always extend the drive all the way to Monterey, and pick you up at Half Moon Bay ;) . If you can hold out maybe another three weeks or so, join us for the drive (I can understand if you can't.. sometimes the urge to just DRIVE hits me, too).

The Daly City Krispy Kreme/pho meet tonight is at the Westlake Shopping Center in Daly City, west of the Daly City Bart station. The Krispy Kreme is just off of 280, next to the In & Out.

The Sonoma/Napa Valley drive is going to be end of spring/early summer (before the Mt. Ham drive), heading North across the Golden Gate Bridge and into the wine country. I haven't mapped the route yet, so I'm open to suggestions from anyone with any ideas on a good drive through there.
