whats the difference between stock and 22b hood vents?

You forgot to mention the price difference, too. The stock ones are free and come with your car, the 22b cost more and you gotta order them! :D

Even better, the stock ones look neat and are only functional at rest. The 22B ones are expensive and act as a wing to suck hot air air out of the engine bay while the car is in motion.

That's my car, covered in a solid sheet of ice, after a run up the highway from Marlborough MA to home (45 minute trip). The car was moving the whole time on 495 ;). The engine bay heat escaping melted the ice in the areas behind the vents. I LOVE this picture! :D.
